This journey is being put together by an amazing team of passionate travel professionals who feel that its time to bring authentic cultural experiences with genuine social benefits back into travel.
At the same time, travel is also about having fun, meeting people, learning from each other, seeing the incredible sights and locations on offer, as well as giving something back to the communities who host us.
This program is a carefully curated combination of exotic locations and community workshops. Working together with the Smokeless Cookstove Foundation, we travel from our base in Udaipur to surrounding villages to learn about and help facilitate a training program on making smokeless cookstoves (chulhas) with the families who need them in their homes.
These training programs have been ongoing since the conception of the project in 2016 and over time have evolved into a form that has a wonderful impact and truly helps the villages we can reach. You get to be a part of this by joining us in the field, experiencing life in the villages and supporting our expert trainers in sharing skills that have the power to change and even save lives.
Over the course of our 3 weeks together, we will balance field work with time in stunning Rajasthan, staying in carefully selected guesthouses, home-stays, hotels, and even a Haveli! Day trips to a range of scenic wonders are included and the field stays are structured to be less challenging but still meaningful.
